Handcrafted in Tuscany, Italy, the Paoletti SKYBASS Loft Series brings Paoletti’s reclaimed chestnut platform into a powerful, professional bass format. Each instrument begins with aged Italian chestnut wood, carefully selected for resonance, frequency response, harmony, and sustain across the full harmonic spectrum.

While Paoletti’s guitar collections express the reclaimed chestnut voice across multiple electric guitar forms, the SKYBASS Loft Series translates that same historic material into a commanding low-end instrument built for depth, punch, clarity, and stage presence.

The aged chestnut body produces a rich and resonant tonal foundation, while the roasted maple neck provides stability, articulation, and playing comfort. Paoletti’s custom roasting process, combined with a double-action truss rod, supports long-term reliability and responsive feel under professional playing conditions.

Every SKYBASS Loft model is designed around strong bass performance, with configurations featuring Seymour Duncan® pickups, Paoletti in-house pickups, or model-specific pickup layouts depending on the instrument. These pickup choices allow the SKYBASS platform to cover vintage-inspired thump, articulate midrange, modern punch, and full-bodied low-end authority.

Visually, the SKYBASS Loft Series carries the bold identity of the Loft family. Painted finishes, heavy relic treatments, brass appointments, gold or nickel hardware, and custom color options give each bass a distinct presence while preserving the core Paoletti DNA of reclaimed Italian chestnut, boutique hardware, and handcrafted individuality.
